Symes -- Krasovec
Fred and Linda Symes are pleased announced the engagement of their daughter, Monica Krista, to Joshua Michael Krasovec, son of Mike Krasovec and Mary Ellen Miller, of Lake Tapawingo, Mo.
The future bride is a graduate of Nevada High School and Pittsburg State University, where she obtained a master's of science degree, and an educational specialist degree in school psychology. She is employed with Blue Valley School District, in Overland Park, Kan., as a school psychologist. The future groom graduated from Blue Springs High School and attended Pittsburg State University. He is employed by the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department as a police officer in a division of the tactical response team.
The couple is planning a July 5, 2008, ceremony at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, in Kansas City, Mo.
