KAREN ELAINE BROWNING

Karen Elaine Browning, age 48, a resident of San Antonio, Texas, died December 4, 2007, in San Antonio. She was born April 19, 1959, in Lakeview, Ore., the daughter of Basil and Gladys (Smith) Rexroad. She grew up in Colorado before moving to Texas. She loved working on cars. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Karen is survived by her mother, Gladys (Smith) Rexroad, Tulsa, Okla.; her daughter, Kiki Collins, San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Bradley and Sean Browning, both of San Antonio, Texas; her brother, Max Rexroad, Pleasanton, Calif.; three grandchildren, Legaci and Triniti Collins, and Demarcus Browning; three cousins, Ruth Waring, Garland, Kan., Glenn Smith, Redfield, Kan., and Donald Lee Smith, Miami, Okla. She was preceded in death by her father, Basil Rexroad.

Funeral services for Karen Browning were held in San Antonio on December 8, 2007. There was cremation. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Large Cemetery. Family and friends may meet at the cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott.
