Library book sale

The Fort Scott Public Library will have a used book sale April 5-12 in the children's story room of the library, Second and National Avenue. Hardback books are 50 cents and paperbacks are 25 cents. Starting April 10, each customer may select a bag or a box of books for just a dollar. The proceeds are used to purchase new library materials. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
