FSCC Theatre to present 'The Curious Savage'
Fort Scott Community College will present opening night of the FSCC spring theater production, "The Curious Savage," at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Zimmerman Hall of the Presbyterian Church, 308 S. Crawford St.
The play, written by playwright John Patrick, follows the curious actions of a wealthy widow who gives away most of her estate to the needy, infuriating her children.
The cast includes FSCC students Sarah Conley as Florence, Matthew Blunt as Hannibal, Whitley Zandler as Fairy May, Will Miller as Jeffrey, Sarah Karleskint as Mrs. Paddy, Samuel Tiner as Titus, Benjamin Cole as Samuel, Amanda Shotton as Lily Belle, Megan Peterson as Ethel, Kayla West as Miss Wilhelmina, and Paul Kirk as Dr. Emmett.
The play will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 years of age and younger. FSCC students with valid student identification will be admitted free of charge. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling FSCC at (620) 223-2700.
