Emergency medical personnel and first responders Tuesday load 43-year-old Dorthy Sweat into an ambulance after a two vehicle accident on Wall Street at the U.S. 69 Highway underpass. Shortly after 2 p.m., Sweat, who was driving a 1993 Ford Explorer was apparently rear-ended by a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Jordan Blackburn, 17, while the two vehicles were on Wall Street. Sweat was taken to Mercy Health Center. She complained of neck pain at the scene of the accident, according to radio transmissions from Fort Scott Police Department. Her condition as of Wednesday hasn't been determined. The accident didn't cause any blockage of traffic at the junction of the two roads. Tribune photo/Michael Glover
