JAMES REGINALD 'REGGIE' WELLINGTON III
James Reginald "Reggie" Wellington III, age 38, resident of Tri-Valley, Fort Scott, Kansas died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1969, in Spokane, Washington the son of James R. Wellington Jr. and Mary Alice Wellington Clark. Reggie moved from Spokane to Fort Scott in 1991. He enjoyed working with retired race horses, solving puzzles and working with wood.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Clark of Chicago, father James Wellington Jr., Spokane; three brothers, Tracy L. Wellington, Noah D. Wellington and Isaiah J. Wellington, all of Spokane; step-mother, Pamela L. Wellington, also of Spokane.
Presiding Overseer Jack Grubb will officiate memorial services at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, East 54 Highway, (1280 245th Street) Fort Scott. Funeral services will be held in Spokane with burial in the Heritage Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kan. 66701.
