Central Heights takes pair from Jayhawks

RICHMOND, Kan. -- Jayhawk-Linn's boys stepped back into Pioneer League play here Friday night only to find themselves on the short end of a 47-25 loss to Central Heights.

The Vikings (2-1 league, 6-6 overall) led 33-7 at halftime.

Jayhawk-Linn (0-3, 3-10) saw no one reach double figures in scoring. Kris Bogan led with five points.

Central Heights' girls (2-1, 5-7) came from behind to defeat Jayhawk-Linn (0-3, 7-5) in overtime, 47-44. Details were not available as the Herald-Tribune went to press.

The Jayhawks play at Welsville Tuesday in another league doubleheader.
