Tri-Valley Developmental Services sponsors Big 12 ticket drawing
CHANUTE, Kan. -- Two lucky sports fans will have the time of their life at the Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament this year.
Tri-Valley Developmental Services is sponsoring a drawing to give two people courtside seats at all of the games during the tournament March 13-16 at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
"This is a great opportunity to enjoy the Big 12 Tournament in a manner that is unattainable to most of us," Tim Cunningham, executive director of Tri-Valley, said. "These are amazing seats."
The two, courtside tickets were provided by the Big 12 Conference to Tri-Valley, which serves people throughout southeast Kansas, for a charitable fundraiser. The winners will also be invited to several parties given by corporate sponsors of the tournament, and also have free parking at all games.
Tri-Valley is asking for $50 donations from those entering the drawing for the two tickets and other amenities. The entire package is valued at approximately $1,000.
Individuals may enter a maximum of five times. Tri-Valley accepts all major credit cards.
The drawing of the winner's name will be on February 14 at 5 p.m. at the Tri-Valley offices in Chanute, Kan. The winner does not need to be present, and will be contacted by telephone immediately after the drawing.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Southeast Kansas Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, sponsored by Tri-Valley. RSVP benefits numerous entities in the four counties served by Tri-Valley, including volunteers at Chambers of Commerce, Senior Centers, after-school programs, school greener programs, at Neosho County Community College, Fort Scott Community College, Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, libraries and also provides transportation for seniors to medical appointments.
Those entering the drawing should send their donation along with their name, address and phone number to Tri-Valley Big 12 Drawing, PO Box 518, Chanute, KS 66720. More information on the drawing or how to enter without a donation may be obtained by calling 620-431-7401, ext. 2.
