PAULA ELAINE JOHNSON

Paula Elaine Johnson, age 71, resident of Prescott, Kansas, died Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the Mercy Health Center Emergency Room. She was born October 5, 1936, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Benjamin Frank Boyd and Mary Ellen Neeley Boyd. Paula worked for many years at Key Industries.

She first married Robert Lowe in 1952. They later divorced. She married Milbrey Hubbell and also divorced. Her third marriage was to Albert Johnson. He preceded her in death in 2000. She was a lifetime member of the Post No.1165 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Her hobbies included fishing and riding horses.

Survivors include a son, Robert E. Lowe Jr., Lansing, Kansas and a daughter, Cheryl Reed, Burlington, Kansas. Also surviving is a sister Sharon Stanley, Kingsville, Missouri; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Jared Witt will conduct graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the U. S. National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Cheney Witt Chapel from 1 p.m.until leaving for the cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a Paula Johnson Memorial Fund and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O.
