Police report
* Fort Scott Police responded to a report of criminal damage on Friday at 215 S. Eddy St. The back door apparently was pried open, with damage to the door estimated at $200.
* Fort Scott Police responded to multiple reports of drivers failing to pay for motor fuel at various convenient stores. Police Friday took a report at a store at 1709 S. National Ave., where a driver pumped $20 worth of gas and didn't pay. Officers took another report at 1920 S. Main St. after a motorist in a black Ford truck didn't pay for $20 worth of gas. A third report was taken at 602 S. National Ave., where an unidentified vehicle pumped $84 worth of gas without paying.
* Fort Scott Police responded to a theft Tuesday at 111 Little St. A 12 volt battery was taken out of an 1987 Dodge vehicle. Estimated loss was $70.
* Fort Scott Police responded to a report of criminal damage at 112 1/2 S. Judson St. The report stated that tires were slashed on an undetermined make/model vehicle. Damage was valued at $170.
* Merriman, Jacob J., 18, Fort Scott, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Saturday by Fort Scott police for purchasing/consuming alcohol by a minor and released the same day on $250 bond.
* Lotterer, Joshua P., 18, Fort Scott, was arrested 2:41 a.m. Saturday by FSPD for purchasing/consuming alcohol by a minor and released the same day on $250 bond.
* Gaughan, Jerry D., no age given, Fort Scott, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Saturday by FSPD for driving with suspended license and released the same day for time served.
* Wilson, Corey D., 18, Fort Scott, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Saturday by FSPD for purchasing/consuming alcohol by a minor and released the same day on $250 bond.
* Lane, Burnie R., 56, Fort Scott, was arrested at 11 a.m. Saturday by FSPD for battery and released the same day on $250 bond.
Sheriff's report
* Herman, Catherine R., 47, Redfield, was arrested at 4:06 p.m. Friday by Bourbon County Sheriff's Office on a Bourbon County warrant for aggravated battery.
* Wilson, Charles P., 19, Emporia, was arrested at 4 p.m. Friday by sheriff's deputies for a 48 hour sentence and released Sunday for time served.
Bronson Police
* Lord, Marty R., 46, Moran, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. Sunday by Bronson Police for driving with suspended license, expired tags, no liability insurance coverage and possession of drug paraphernalia and released the same day on $2,250 bond.
