Country Place Living seeks candidates for franchise in Fort Scott community
Country Place Living, a Grapevine, Texas-based franchisor of assisted-living residences for seniors in rural America, has announced that it will begin awarding franchises soon in Fort Scott.
Founded in 2003 by former Wichita native Jack West, who is now the company's chief executive officer, the company has redefined senior living in rural America with uniquely designed assisted-living residences that offer the best amenities and forward-thinking vision for a growing population. The company offers two concepts for franchising; Country Place Senior Living, an 18-apartment assisted living residence, and Country Place Home Plus, an 8-bedroom group home residence.
"Fort Scott is a market we've identified for expansion, because the size and population here are ideal for our residences," Country Place Living President and COO Cynthia Gartman said in a statement from the company. "We are looking for franchisees with a caring nature and the compassion it takes to run a business that caters to the needs and well-being of a specialized population. And we see a demand for those services in Fort Scott that Country Place Living can fulfill."
Country Place Living's residences are located near medical facilities in small towns where people are accustomed to a high quality of life filled with long-term relationships. The company's market centers on the booming male and female rural population of people typically over 75 years of age.
A member of the International Franchise Association, the company plans to expand to more than 400 locations nationwide. Country Place Living has corporate-owned locations through Kansas, and is currently selling franchises in rural communities in Colorado, Oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Texas, the company statement said.
The company began franchising in 2007, so that seniors everywhere can continue a life filled with meaning and purpose while enjoying a living arrangement uniquely designed to meet their varying emotional and physical needs. Country Place Living is dedicated to its mission to provide a secure and supportive, home-like environment where residents may age in place while enhancing their health, independence, privacy and dignity, the statement said.
Franchise candidates must have a minimum of $750,000 net worth. Of this amount, $150,000 is the minimum cash requirement. The approval process requires all candidates to fill out a formal application, provide a personal financial statement, and to attend a special event where they have an opportunity to visit a Country Place Living residence.
