Fort Scott Library to conduct book sale fundraiser

The Fort Scott Library will have a used book sale from Oct. 6 to Oct. 13 in the Children's Story Room of the library, which is located at Sixth and National Avenue. Hardback books will be 50 cents each and paperbacks will be 25 cents each. The library uses the proceeds from this fundraiser to purchase new materials. The sale will be during the library's regular hours and will shut down 15 minutes before closing each day. The library's hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
