Bourbon County 4-H participate in state fair

Seven Bourbon County 4-H members qualified for the Kansas State Fair in eight events at the District 4-H Horse Show at the Parson's State Hospital Arena on July 5, 2007.

Holli Zellner received a purple award in trail to qualify, while Sadie Moore received a purple in barrels.

The 4-H members qualifying as blue ribbon winners were Brenton Esslinger in halter and flags, Cole George in showmanship, trail and horsemanship; Drew George in horsemanship; Torrie Hathaway in halter; JW Meech in flags; Sadie Moore in halter, showmanship, trail, pleasure, horsemanship and poles; and Holli Zellner in showmanship and horsemanship.

Elizabeth Meech also participated.

The Kansas State Fair 4-H Horse Show will be Sept. 14- 16, 2007 in Hutchinson, Kan.
