Little Balkans Days booths available

The Little Balkans Festival Association is still accepting registrations for the 2007 Little Balkans Arts and Crafts booths during the Little Balkans Days in Pittsburg on Saturday, Sept. 1.

The arts and crafts will be divided into sections, Artisan and Handmade Crafts, nonhandmade items and the Kids Zone. Vendors parking will be provided near the arts and crafts area.

All arts and crafts in the Artisan and Handmade Craft blocks must be original, handcrafted items produced by the vendor and will be juried. Selected vendors will be notified by the Little Balkans Arts and Crafts committee.

The festival will be held in downtown Pittsburg, primarily between 4th and 8th streets on Broadway.

There will be booth size, 15x10, and each will have an assigned space. The registration fee will be $50 for the one-day show. Booth spaces are assigned by first come basis as applications and fees are received.

This is the 23rd year for the festival unique to this part of Kansas in connection with the Balkans countries of Southeastern Europe.
