HAROLD EDWIN KRAFT
Harold Edwin Kraft, age 75, a resident of 2092 Jayhawk Road, Fort Scott, Kansas, passed away June 5, 2007. He was born in Gridley, Kansas, on April 5, 1932, the son of Sam and Esther Kraft. He married Wanda Miller on November 5, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas. Harold was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of which he was a minister from June 1978 to January 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; one son, Roger E. Kraft and wife Christina; three daughters, Nancy L. Sinn and husband Thomas of Greenville, S.C., Janet S. Byler and husband Tom, and Diana K. Davis and husband Roger, all of Fort Scott, Ks.; ten grandchildren, Tommy Sinn and wife Shannon, Tena DeVaney and husband Todd, Ted Sinn and wife Tricia, Kimmy Byler and fiancé Jared Leek, Rachel Wells and husband Nathan, Ryan Kraft, Megan Byler, Haley Davis, Kelsey Davis, and Marley Davis; eight great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Richard Kraft of Phoenix, Ariz., Lloyd Kraft of Gridley, Ks., and Sam Kraft of Emporia, Ks. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Sam and Esther Kraft, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Gary Lee Kraft; a sister, Virginia Morrison; and two brothers, Glen Kraft and John Kraft.
John Lehman and Larry Bahr will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Fort Scott, Kansas, for family and friends. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Apostolic Memorial Fund and may be left in care of Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, Kansas.
