A 19-year-old Bronson woman was injured Tuesday after her vehicle rolled over when she swerved to miss an animal on U.S. Highway 69, according to Kansas Highway Patrol. Danielle R. Myers was taken to Mercy Health Center and treated for undisclosed injuries, according to KHP. A passenger, Quintin D. Grant,23, of Fort Scott, was not injured.
Myers was driving south on U.S. 69 about 2 miles north of Fort Scott around 11:22 p.m. and swerved to avoid hitting the animal. The 2002 Chevrolet car entered the west ditch and rolled over once, coming to a rest on its tires. Both were wearing seat belts.
