CAROLYN SUE HAULCY

Carolyn Sue Haulcy, age 55, resident of Fort Scott, died Monday, November 20, 2006, at the Mercy Health Center. She was born January 24, 1951, in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Buddy Lee Harris and Hulene Phillips Harris.

She worked as a nurse for many years and was a member of the United Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Scott. Carolyn is survived by her husband and caregiver, Jeff Oliver; a son, Roy James Haulcy Jr., Denver, Colorado; two daughters, Carla Deniece Pillion and husband George, Fort Scott, and Lisa Carol Deniece Williams and husband, Tony, Denver, Colorado; three brothers, Joseph Harris, Ernest Harris, and Alfred Phillips, all of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Nancy Graves, Amarillo, Texas; an aunt, Rosezene Redmond, Phoenix, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Ann Haulcy; a brother, Glen Phillips; and an infant daughter, Radonda Haulcy.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2006, at the Cheney Witt Chapel, with the Rev. Christopher Culbreth officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
