Tigers snap losing streak, clobber Circle 58-22

Fort Scott High School’s crushing ground game and defense got the Tigers back in the win column with a 58-22 rout of the Circle High School Thunderbirds Friday night at Frary Field.
In a nearly three-hour game filled with penalties and big running plays, Fort Scott senior QB Lennox Vann scored four rushing touchdowns on the night, while junior back Ryder Newton found the end zone twice on the ground. Circle’s senior halfback Westin Rose gained three rushing scores in the second half to put the Thunderbirds on the board.
