Bringing caregivers together

For those shouldering the responsibility of ongoing home care for disabled loved ones, a group is now offered that provides fellowship and understanding.

The Caregiver Support Group, founded and facilitated by Sherman Sisco, is free to any non-paid caregivers and meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Presbyterian Church in Fort Scott. The group begins at 10 a.m. and is generally an hour-long gathering that gives needed support to those dealing with the responsibilities and challenges of providing daily care.
