Fort Scott City Commissioners reviewed the city’s ordinances for Code of Ethics and Code of Procedure concerning the commission during their meeting Tuesday night.
After a discussion, the commission approved a motion by Commissioner Tim VanHoecke to table approval of Ordinance 3563 on the Code of Ethics in order to allow commissioners time to “redline” items in the ordinance, provide questions, suggestions or concerns to City Manager Brad Matkin and City Attorney Bob Farmer. Concerns raised by new Commissioner Dyllon Olson spurred discussion on the policy.
