Lady Tiger quartet qualifies for state tennis tournament

Four Fort Scott High School Lady Tiger tennis players - Abbie Gorman and Bryleigh Hymer in singles, and Kinsley Brown and Cadence Hunziker in doubles - have qualified for the Class 4A State Tennis Tournament after Saturday’s regional competition in Independence.

The Fort Scott High School Lady Tiger tennis team will send two singles players and one doubles team to the Class 4A State Tennis Tournament Friday and Saturday in Winfield.

The Lady Tigers finished in third place with 10 team points in Saturday’s Class 4A regional tournament in Independence. Singles players Abbie Gorman and Bryleigh Hymer, and the doubles team of Kinsley Brown and Cadence Hunziker have qualified for state competition.
