Fort Scott hosts invitational track meet

Fort Scott High School played host to the 2023 Fort Scott Invitational Varsity Track and Field meet Friday at Frary Field.

In 18 scored events, Fort Scott’s girls’ and boys’ squads finished sixth with 47 and 30 points, respectively. Christian Learning Center’s girls (12 points) and boys (three points) placed seventh.

On the girls’ side, Labette County High School finished first with 155 points, while Paola High School placed first with 158 points on the boys’ side.
