Feasibility study considered for overpass at railroad crossing

Bourbon County officials are looking into the possibility of a study to determine the feasibility of an overpass on the south edge of Fort Scott.

On Thursday, commissioners and other county officials discussed a grant received by the Southeast Kansas Regional Planning Commission that would fund such a study. Officials said the process may not happen quickly.
