Lady Tigers take third in Raider Classic; Tiger boys edged by Frontenac

The Fort Scott High School Lady Tigers edged the Frontenac High School Lady Raiders 62-57 to take home third place in the Four State Raider Classic, while the Tiger boys (4-8) were nipped by the Raiders, 60-56 in third-place matchups Saturday in Frontenac.

Fort Scott’s Keegan Yarick led all scorers with 31 points in the Lady Tigers’ contest with the 7-3 Lady Raiders. Other top scorers for Fort Scott (11-1) were Kylee Comstock with 15 and McKenzie Murphy with eight. Yarick, a junior, was named to the girls’ All-Tournament Team.
