Hearings delayed in attempted murder case

Hearings for the adult defendants in a related attempted murder case have been delayed, according to Bourbon County District Court records.

Michael Sheriff, 23, and Tavin Eisenbrandt, 20, both of Fort Scott, are in custody at the Bourbon County Law Enforcement Center on charges of attempted first degree murder and aggravated robbery. The two men were allegedly involved in a Sept. 24 incident that left Kenneth Bevins, 39, of Fort Scott, critically injured.
