Burn ban remains in effect

Bourbon County Commissioners elected Tuesday to keep a countywide burn ban in effect.

Bourbon County District 3 Fire Chief Delwin Mumbower, who recommended the ban Sept. 20, spoke to commissioners on the phone during their regular meeting. Mumbower requested commissioners keep the burn ban in place.
