Charles LaVerne Lifer

Charles LaVerne Lifer, age 89, a resident of Fort Scott, Kan., passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, at the Medicalodge of Fort Scott. Pastor Daniel Kungu will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30 at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kan. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, KS.
