Lady Tiger netters open season in Parsons

Fort Scott High School’s varsity girls’ tennis squad opened its season with a fourth-place finish Thursday at the Parsons Invitational.

The Lady Tigers scored five points to finish fourth behind Independence in first with 13 points; Parsons in second with 12 points; and Pittsburg in third with eight points. Coffeyville finished fifth place with two points.
