Lady Tigers fall in championship game of Frontenac tourney

The Fort Scott High School Lady Tigers fell 58-39 to the Blue Springs Wildcats in the championship game of the Four State Raider Classic, while the Tiger boys were nipped by the Providence Academy Patriots 65-62 in the fifth place game Saturday in Frontenac.

The Lady Tigers edged Providence Academy 53-52 on Thursday and squeaked by the Frontenac Lady Raiders 64-58 on Saturday to make it to the championship game. The Tiger boys fell 62-43 to Frontenac on Thursday to move to the consolation bracket, where they walloped Owensville, Mo., 60-28 on Friday.
