Anita Louise Wrench Vann Douglas

Anita Louise Wrench Vann Douglas, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 5, 2020. She departed this life after a lengthy illness in Joplin Gardens Nursing Home.

Anita was born in Fort Scott, Kan., to Gladys and John Wrench on April 3, 1939. She graduated from Fort Scott High School in 1957.

After graduating from high school, she married Clayton Vann. They were blessed with four children.

Anita Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Joyce Vann.

She is survived by her three sons, Brent, Bryant and Clayton Jr.

Anita later married Lee Douglas and resided in New Orleans, La., prior to moving to Joplin, Mo., in 2006.

Private funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Parker Mortuary. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Mo.
