Just a little more than a month ago, the parking spaces along Wall Street were filled. On Tuesday morning, the parking options were unlimited.

Several small businesses have either closed or closed their doors to the public. That doesn’t mean there isn’t activity. Construction projects, such as at the corner of Main and 1st streets continue.
Work is underway high in the air Tuesday at the corner of 1st and Main streets Tuesday morning. While a crew from Evergy works on a power line, a crew from JR & Co. of Kansas City, Mo., removes equipment and materials from the top of the old Union Block building, which is being renovated for apartments and office space.
