Legion team finishes fourth in zone tournament

Fort Scott’s American Legion Post 25 baseball team finished with a 1-2 record in the American Legion Senior AA Zone 4 Tournament July 19-21 in Humboldt.

Fort Scott fell 9-5 to Yates Center in the team’s final game to finish fourth in the zone tournament. Earl Adams, manager of the team, provided the Tribune with some highlights of the tournament, as well as the team’s season, its first in about four years.
