Forum held to meet the candidates: Fort Scott City Commission

Candidates running for open seats on the Fort Scott City Commission gave their views on key topics during a candidate forum Tuesday night at the Ellis Fine Arts Center.

During the forum, which was hosted by the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals League of Bourbon County, candidates were able to answer questions submitted by the public, and give brief opening and closing statements. For this forum, two questions randomly drawn from a bowl were asked of each candidate, and candidates could be asked the same question.

Chamber Executive Director Lindsay Madison said all candidates knew all of the questions heading into the forum.
