’Hound women roll by Ottawa JV
Fort Scott Community College’s women rolled by the Ottawa University junior varsity at Arnold Arena, 81-47, in their first home game of the new year Thursday.
Uniontown High School graduate Shalina Harper led the Greyhounds (10-7) with 14 points off the bench, making 5 of 6 field-goal attempts. Jade Winer scored 13 for Fort Scott with Jada Perry nd Ally McKenzie each adding 12 and Kamaya Miller finishing with 10.
The ’Hounds shot 57 percent from the field, making 32 of 56 field-goal attempts while holding the Braves to 32 percent on 14 of 44.
The Greyhounds are co-hosts of a non-conference doubleheader with Southeast (Neb.) today at Arnold Arena. The women’s game tips off at 2 p.m. with the men to follow.
