Jean Mary Allee, 92, of California, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at her home. She was born on December 30, 1924 in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia, to Edward and Lilly (McMillian) Evans.

She was married on May 2, 1944 in Sydney, Australia to Truman Gale Allee, who preceded her in death. In 1955, Jean became a naturalized citizen of the United States. There was no greater patriot than Jean, who loved America and loved talking politics and was the truest example of what an immigrant can be. She was a devoted Christian and beloved member of First Baptist Church and was active in all aspects of her church life. She will be missed and we will be ready to see her in glory when the time comes.

Jean is survived by: three sons, Raymond Maurice, Robert Gale and Randy Lloyd; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one brother Norman J. Evans.

Jean was also preceded in death by: her son, Ronald Gene Allee and his beloved wife Marilyn; two brothers, Edward James C. Evans and Ernest L. Evans.

The family will receive friends at First Bapitst Church Sanctuary on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 4 to 6 p.m.. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Rev. Greg Morrow and Dr. Jeremy Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Flag Spring Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, First Baptist Church Missions Council or Flag Springs Cemetery.
