Ruth Arlene Kibble
Ruth Arlene Kibble, 83, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, 2017 at Fort Scott Manor. She was born Jan. 30, 1933 in Bronson, Kan., the daughter of William Harold and Claribel P. (Steward) Rogers.
Ruth worked at The Western Insurance Co. and American States for 30 years, and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her son Steven Kibble and his wife Julie, of Fort Scott, Kan.; two sisters, Lois Lamb and husband Bob of Bronson, Kan., and Jean Karst and husband Bill of Warsaw, Mo.; three granddaughters, Brandy Jo McCarty and husband Tate, of Marion, Kan., Lindsey Kay Hoskinson and husband Garett, of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Leslie Denise May and husband Jake of Fort Scott, Kan.; and five great-grandchildren, Lucas and Avery Hoskinson, Bo and Hank May, and Patrick McCarty. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Alan Kibble.
Elder David Nickelson will conduct funeral services 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home with burial following at the Bronson Cemetery.
