Wrestling trip to Ottawa cancelled

Fort Scott High School Athletic Director Larry Fink announced Friday afternoon that the varsity wrestling team will not go to Ottawa today to participate in a dual wrestling tournament due to the potential for severe weather weather. Neither will the junior varsity wrestling team make its scheduled trip to Cherryvale.

Additionally, a trip to a cheerleading competition in Kansas City has also been called off.

The varsity wrestling team will now be idle until January 7, when they go to Bonner Springs for the Dick Burns Mat Classic. The JV will be active the same day at Independence.
