FSMS girls conclude seasons

Fort Scott Middle School's girls' basketball program recently concluded its season.

On Saturday, the eighth graders played in a tournament at Chanute-Royster. The Tigers lost both games. Royster took a 39-28 win in the opening game while Pittsburg claimed the third-place game, 35-20. Ella Beth scored 13 points for the Tigers in each game.

Monday, the Tigers concluded the season at Parsons with a 46-15 win. Beth led with 18 points and Sami Bradbury finished with 8.

Alson on Monday, the seventh-grade A team lost at Parsons, 33-25. Harmony Shaw led the way for the Tigers with 11 points. The 7A team finished the season with a record of 9-5.
