Mary E. Parsons

Mary E. Parsons, age 72, a resident of rural Fort Scott, Kan., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at the Fort Scott Medicalodge. She was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Pea Ridge, Ark., the daughter of George V. Hanners and Flora Gertrude King Hanners.

She was the last of her family. A daughter, Viola McClanahan and a son, Ronald Parson, preceded her in death.

There was cremation. Services were under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, KS.
