Jacqueline Nellie "Jackie" Peterson

Jacqueline Nellie "Jackie" Peterson, 85, of Fort Scott, died Monday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2016, at the Medicalodge Nursing Home, in Fort Scott, Kan. She was born Feb. 21, 1930, in Sedalia, Mo., the daughter of John Henry and Lillian Bailey Richey. She Married Junior Peterson, June 29, 1947, in Fort Scott, he preceded her in death, March 15, 2014.

She is survived by a son, Bill Peterson of Fort Scott, a brother, Gene Richey, a sister, Peggy Lou Mason of Peculiar, Mo., a grandson Brad Peterson, a granddaughter, Courtney Lawrence, and a good friend and caregiver, Dorothy Hoffman of Fort Scott. In addition to her husband, Junior, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Kenny Peterson will conduct Graveside services at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at the Memory Gardens of Bourbon County Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Family and Friends will meet at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home at 1 p.m., Saturday and leave for the Cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Care to Share Ministry and may be sent to, or left in the care of, the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W.
