Linda Lee Coulter

Linda Lee Coulter, age 66, a resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died early Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at her home. She was born July 25, 1950, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Burton Wayne Ogle and Daisy Ruth Duerson Ogle. Linda graduated from Fort Scott High School. She married Edward Coulter on May 22, 1970, at Everton, Mo. Linda later graduated from Pittsburg State University. She had been employed as a correctional officer at the Southeast Kansas Regional Correctional Center. She enjoyed racing, playing pool, cards and Bingo.

Survivors include her husband, Ed, of the home; six children, Anthony Ogle, of Fort Scott, Tammy Eaton and husband, Billy, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mariann Mackley and husband, Norman, Tonya Belle and husband, Jessee, Edward Coulter and wife, Kelly, all of Fort Scott and Lance Coulter and wife, Erin, of Uniontown, Kan., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her father, Burton Ogle, of Fort Scott and a brother, Robert Ogle, of Kansas City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her mother Daisy Ogle and a sister, Ruth Ann Roberts.

Pastor Randy Coulter, Sr. will conduct funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
