Workers use heavy equipment to dig into asphalt near the intersection of Sixth Street and National Avenue Tuesday afternoon. The intersection at Sixth and National has been closed down since Monday so a new water line can be installed as part of the continuing National improvement project. The intersection will be closed until installation of the new water line is complete, according to a city news release. Amino Brothers Co., Inc., is the contractor for the project.
