Raeanne Lea Farmer

Raeanne Lea Farmer, 51 of Fort Scott, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 20, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott. She was born May 24, 1964 in Fort Scott the daughter of Raymond Harold and Carole Rosalie (Cline) Farmer.

Raeanne grew up in Overland Park, Kan., and returned to Fort Scott in 1986. She had a kind heart and a generous spirit and was loved by her family and friends.

Survivors include her sister Randie Burns and husband David, nephew Matthew, niece Caitlin, and Mike Hagood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Carole Farmer; her grandmother, Lola Picht, and grandparents, Earl and Genevieve Farmer.

Following cremation, William James Schafer will conduct Memorial Services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Shirley Yeager Animal Friends Rescue and may be left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall Street, P.O. Box 309, Fort Scott, KS, 66701.
