FSCC volleyball camps June 23-24

Fort Scott Community College's volleyball program has announced summer camp dates that it will hosting at Arnold Arena June 23 and 24.

A third-through-sixth grade all-skills camp will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon on June 23. This camp will focus on fundamental skills: passing, hitting, setting and serving. The cost is $15 and all campers receive a free T-shirt.

A similar camp will be held for players entering grades 7-12 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on June 23. It will also focus on fundamental skills as well as ball control and game situations. The cost is $15 and all campers receive a free T-shirt.

A college prep camp will be held June 24 from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. This camp is for high-school age athletes who have the want to play volleyball at the college level. The focus will be on fundamentals, mental training, ball control, game situations and the recruiting process. The cost is $30 and all campers receive a free T-shirt.
