Coffeyville shuts out Tiger soccer

Visiting Coffeyville shut out Fort Scott High School, 2-0, Tuesday in a Southeast Kansas League match at Ellis Park.

With the victory, the Golden Tornado (1-2 SEK, 1-4 overall) broke a tie for last place in the SEK with the Tigers (0-5, 0-9).

Fort Scott has lost 10 straight matches going back to last season. The Tigers have been outscored 54-2 this season and have been shut out seven times, including each of their last four matches.
