Bentley G. Liggett

Bentley G. Liggett, age 69, a former resident of Kansas City, Mo., and more recently of Fort Scott, Kan., died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Guest Home Estates in Fort Scott. He was born Oct. 15, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Charles E. Liggett and Nadine A. Milford Liggett.

Survivors include an aunt, Ardie Ober, of Fort Scott and several cousins, including Sandra Barlow, of Fort Scott who provided for his care. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Private burial will take place on Wednesday at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo. Services are under the direction of the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
