Six members of Fort Scott High School's league champion baseball team were selected to the All-Southeast Kansas League baseball team recently. League coaches choose the teams prior to the beginning of Regional tournament play but the release of the team is withheld until after the last league team -- Fort Scott, in this year's case -- concludes post-season play, per league policy.

Four Tigers were named to the First Team: senior Jacob Durossette at shortstop, junior Mason Knopp as both a pitcher and a catcher, sophomore Kaleb DeLaTorre at second base, and junior Jake Bradbury in the outfield.

Also on the First Team are:

* Chanute second baseman Christian Wiltse and pitcher/center fielder Jordan Richards.

* Coffeyville's Grant Newton as a first baseman and Ryan Reddington and Zach Kirk as utility infielders/pitchers.

* Independence outfielder Kyle Rinck.

* Labette County center fielder Austin Yanez and third baseman/pitcher Will Owens.

* Parsons infielder/pitcher Tyler Drisdell.

* Pittsburg first baseman Sage Mahnken, outfielder Elijah Harris and pitcher/outfielder Dante Richardson.

Representing Fort Scott on the Second Team are junior catcher Chase Brown and senior outfielder Zach Denton. They are joined by:

* Chanute catcher Gus Walker and shortstop Kenton Richards.

* Coffeyville pitcher/second baseman Nate Finley and third baseman/pitcher/outfielder Brad Heshey.

* Labette County pitcher Chase Dodsworth and outfielder/pitcher Braden Anderson.
