Daniel Thomas "Boone" Page
Daniel Thomas "Boone" Page, age 59, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home. He was born on Sept., 20, 1954, in Fort Scott, the son of Orville and Clara Cady Page. He married Alberta Hawkins in 1972. They later divorced. He married Cindy Thurston in 1987. They later divorced. He worked as a salesperson for Coyan's furniture in Fort Scott during the 1980s. He was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed bowling and playing softball. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include a son Paul Smith and wife Tena, Fort Scott; a daughter, Becky Miller and husband Ron, Fort Scott; a brother, Richard Page and wife Jolene, Fort Scott; four sisters, Shirley Hull and husband Earl, Fort Scott, Kathy King and husband Bob, Eucha, Okla., Thelma Louise Richwine, Fort Scott, and Deborah Raines, Buffalo, Texas; six grandchildren, Terrie, Timothy, Logan, Ciera, Brooklyn, and Gage; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Lee Page; and his parents.
Rev. Chuck Russell will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chapel Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Thursday evening at the Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Dan Page Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O.
