The Pirates won the opener, 5-2. Fort Scott claimed the nightcap, 6-1.

The Greyhounds led the opener 1-0 after one inning and 2-1 after two. But the Pirates scored the tying run in the top of the third and added three more in the sixth.

Alex Copeland's one-out double brought in Lance Barkley in the first inning. Barkley reached on a leadoff single.

Parker O'Dell lead off the second by reaching on a bunt. He moved to second on Mile Sielinski's sacrifice, stole third and scored on Barkley's sacrifice fly.

Fort Scott had just 5 hits. Josh Griffith had two of them.

Miles Wagner (0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief, allowing 3 unearned runs on 3 hits while striking out 5.

North Central led game two 1-0 after its turn at bat in the top of the first. Fort Scott (5-1) didn't get on the board until the bottom of the fourth.

Sam Gilbert led off that inning with a double to center field and Copeland followed with a walk. After a double steal, Kaden Shaffer singled to center field to drive home both runners. Shaffer, who advanced to second on the play, stole third base and scored on Dalton Rook's sacrifice to make it 3-1.

Austin Oakes was hit by a pitch leading off the fifth and Barkley drew a one-out walk. Gilbert followed with a single to load the bases. Copeland walked on four pitches to force Oakes home. Barkley scored on a wild pitch. Gilbert scored on a single by Kolby Greenslade to make it 6-1.
