Kay Lynn (Sparks) Stillwagon
Kay Lynn (Sparks) Stillwagon, age 59 of Rockwall, Texas, passed away Feb. 14, 2014. She was born Aug. 7, 1954, in Pittsburg, Kan., to James and Mary Del (Esch) Sparks. Kay Lynn was married on April 30, 1983, in Willard, Mo., to Richard Stillwagon. She worked in a family practice clinic and as a home health nurse for many years and later owned the Heart of Gold Home Care facility.
Kay Lynn is survived by her husband: Richard Stillwagon of Rockwall, Texas; daughters: D'Ambra Hawkins and husband Cody of Royse City, Texas, and Kayla Stillwagon of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sons: Matthew Hampton of Austin, Texas, and Christopher Stillwagon of Dallas, Texas; mother: Mary Del Sparks of Fort Scott, Kan.; sisters: Diana Endicott and husband J.W. of Fort Scott, Kan., Kimberly Farmer and husband Rick of Owasso, Okla., and Shelly Sparks of Irving, Texas; grandchildren: Brendan Tucker, Gentry Hawkins, and Bailey Stillwagon. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel, 2500 State Highway 66 East, Rockwall, Texas, with Pastor Chad Hays officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will be 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
